Crude venom is characterized by six methods in an independent laboratory. The values on this page refer to the reference batch; every shipment is sent with its own batch analysis report.
Analysis is carried out in an independent laboratory, not in our own facility
Keeping production and measurement in separate hands strengthens the impartiality of the results. The sample is delivered to the laboratory under its batch number; the report is issued based on the laboratory's own method and instrument records.
For the reference batch, the sample was delivered on 30.06.2026 and the analysis report was issued on 04.07.2026. We have also explained why independent analysis matters.
Five-stage characterization
Sample receipt and species record
The sample is received under its batch number; the source species and form are recorded.
Protein concentration and pH
The amount of protein is measured against a standard curve, together with the acidity of the crude venom.
UV-Vis spectrum analysis
A scan from 190 to 400 nm is performed; the protein-specific peak at 280 nm is confirmed.
RP-HPLC fractionation
Components are separated by reversed-phase chromatography; peaks are recorded at 280 nm.
SDS-PAGE and peptide identification
The molecular weight distribution is determined and the target peptide is identified at the sequence level.
